LGBI Airport Hosts Aviation Safety Culture Week in Collaboration with BCAS

Guwahati : Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBI) is observing Aviation Safety Culture Week in partnership with the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) to promote safety and security at the airport. The week-long event, taking place from July 31 to August 5, features a series of activities aimed at enhancing aviation security.

The Aviation Safety Culture Week commenced with a safety pledge ceremony held at the assembly point, where teams from LGBIA and BCAS joined together to reaffirm their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all aircraft operations. This pledge serves as a strong reminder that every individual on board shares the responsibility for the safety of others.

Throughout the week, a variety of interactive events are scheduled, including a 5 km Walkathon and a Quiz competition. The Walkathon, held within the airport premises, saw participation from over 200 LGBIA personnel.
