HPCL Launches First CNG Facilities in Assam

Guwahati: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL)  inaugurated its maiden Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) facilities in Assam on August 1st. The CNG station, located at HP Pamohi in Guwahati, was formally inaugurated by Mr. Sandeep Maheswari, Executive Director-Retail of HPCL. The event was attended by Mr. Manuj K Baruah, CEO of PBGPL, Mr. Mohit Dhawan, CGM of East Zone, and other officials from HPCL and PBGPL, as well as esteemed customers and dealers.

“HPCL, a prominent player in the energy sector with over 21,000 retail outlets nationwide, is actively contributing to the adoption of cleaner energy solutions. Presently, the company offers CNG facilities at 1,500 of its retail outlets across the country, providing consumers with a greener choice for their transportation needs,” said authority.
