Guwahati: Internationally acclaimed swimmer Elvis Ali Hazarika graced an event titled ‘Guest of Press Club,’ organized at the Guwahati Press Club on July 31. The event, hosted by senior journalist Pranoy Bordoloi, Elvis shared his recent achievement of swimming The English Channel, along with other exciting experiences.
Elvis, who started swimming at the age of two-and-a-half years by crossing Dighalipukhuri in Guwahati. He has earned a remarkable total of 134 gold medals in national competitions.

The event was attended by the President-Secretary of The Guwahati Press Club, along with other office-bearers and esteemed senior journalists. The Executive Committee of the Press Club expressed gratitude to the journalists for their valuable participation, making the event a great success.
