Guwahati: With the temperature rising and the weather getting hotter, schools in Guwahati have decided to change their timings. Both government and private schools in the Kamrup (M) district have decided to make the school days shorter.
The District Elementary Education Officer’s office issued an official notice about this change. This decision was made to keep students and teachers more comfortable in the heat.
Starting from Thursday, August 3rd, 2023, the new school timings will be in effect. This adjustment is being made to ensure that everyone stays safe and cool during the hot weather. It’s a step taken to make sure that students and teachers can continue their classes without feeling too hot or uncomfortable.
