Assam Class X Student Becomes Sivasagar’s Deputy Commissioner for a Day

Sivasagar:  Bhagyadeep Rajgarh, a Class X student from Assam, had a unique opportunity to serve as the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Sivasagar district for a day on July 31.

Bhagyadeep was chosen for this special role through the state government’s scheme, and he stood out among 150 students for this honorary position.

Sivasagar’s DC, Aditya Vikram Yadav, personally escorted Bhagyadeep from his home to the Deputy Commissioner’s office in the morning.

Throughout the day, Bhagyadeep actively participated in discussions and events at the DC office, fulfilling the role of a district collector for the day.

Elated about this opportunity, Bhagyadeep expressed his ambition to become an administrative officer in the future. He felt immensely happy to serve as the district collector for a day.

Bhagyadeep Rajgarh is a student at Bakata Barbam High School. His parents, Poona Rajgarh and Meena Rajgarh, are tea estate workers at Deoriting.

It was a memorable experience for Bhagyadeep.
