Senior Police Officer Partha Sarathi Mahanta Receives Ph.D. from Assam Down Town University

Guwahati: Partha Sarathi Mahanta, the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Administration) in Assam, has been awarded a Ph.D. from Assam Down Town University. His research, titled “A Comprehensive Analysis of Challenges and Strategies to Attain Work-Life Balance in the Police Profession, with a Special Emphasis on the Guwahati Police Commissionerate,” earned him the degree.

At the convocation ceremony of Assam Down Town University held on Saturday, the Governor of Assam, Gulab Chand Kataria, formally presented the degree to the senior police officer. Mahanta’s research was supervised by Dr. Homeswar Goswami, a Senior Professor in the Department of Management at Assam Down Town University and a retired Head of the Department of Economics at Dibrugarh University.
