Over Hundred Including Politicians Join BJP in Guwahati

Guwahati: More than a hundred people including prominent political figures, Hukum San Ali Bakshi, Member of Ward No. 1 of GMC, State Congress Spokesperson Mridul Malakar, and former leader of Asom Jatiya Parishad Manoj Kalita, among others, have joined to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Guwahati. The list of joiners also includes former leaders from various parties such as Trinamool Congress and Congress.

The joining ceremony, held at the BJP Headquarters “Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan,” witnessed the presence of top BJP leaders including State BJP President Bhabesh Kalita, Assam Government Ministers Jayanta Malla Baruah, Chandra Mohan Patowary, and Mayor Mrigen Sarania. Welcoming the newcomers, Kalita expressed confidence that their addition would further strengthen the party’s position in the region.

“I hope that in the coming days, the participants will continue to work diligently in the interest of building the society by adhering to the party’s principles,” remarked Kalita during the joining ceremony.
