NIMAS Team Achieves Milestone with ‘Har Shikhar Tiranga’

Guwahati: A group from NIMAS (National Institute of Mountaineering and Adventure Sports) set a special record by climbing the highest mountain in all 28 Indian states. It took them a whole year to travel 30,000 kilometers across all the states.

They celebrated their accomplishment with a party in Guwahati named ”Har Shikhar Tiranga”.

Col. Ranveer Singh Jamwal, the head of the Dirang-based National Institute of Mountaineering and Adventure Sports (NIMAS), led this mission. He is a well-known and highly skilled mountaineer who has climbed Mt Everest thrice and the highest mountains in all seven continents. He has received national adventure awards and an IMF Gold medal.
