Tragedy struck when Konwar lost his father at a young age, intensifying the financial struggle for him and his mother. Undeterred by adversity, Konwar’s mother worked as a daily wage laborer and sold vegetables to make ends meet.

Despite facing these obstacles, Konwar defied the odds. He chose education over insurgency, graduating locally, earning postgraduate distinctions, and securing the 119th rank in the UPSC exams in 2010. His journey exemplifies unwavering determination and hard work, serving as an inspiration for youth facing challenges in achieving their dreams.
