Guwahati: On Friday morning at 10:16 am (IST), an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter Scale was felt in Guwahati, as well as other parts of the Northeastern region. The National Centre of Seismology has confirmed that the epicenter of the earthquake was located in Bangladesh.
No immediate reports of casualties or significant damage have been received so far.
