Guwahati: cricketer Riyan Parag, from Assam, has secured a spot in the prestigious Duleep Trophy. The East Zone Selection Committee has recognized Parag’s exceptional cricketing skills and chosen him to represent the East Zone team in the tournament, scheduled to take place from June 28 to July 16.
Assam’s Rishav Das has also been named as a standby player, demonstrating the depth of talent in the state’s cricketing ranks.
This was confirmed by the Assam cricket association (ACA) on Thursday (June 15).
