Guwahati: A shocking incident took place in Indira Nagar area under Basistha police station on Sunday, where a dead body was found stuffed inside a trolley bag.
Locals noticed the suspicious bag lying by the roadside and were shocked to see a pair of legs sticking out. They immediately informed the police.
Police reached the spot and started an investigation. However, till now, they have not shared any official statement. According to people in the area, the body appears to be that of a young person, likely between 13 and 15 years old.
The identity of the deceased and the cause of death are still unknown. The area remains tense as locals wait for more information from the police.
