Chinmoyee Das from Kamrup has been crowned Miss Himalaya 2024 at the prestigious beauty pageant held in New Delhi, highlighting the talent and beauty of the Himalayan region. The event was organised by Aman Gandhi Film Production. Chinmoyee, with her impressive background in beauty contests, added another accolade to her growing list of achievements.
Having nurtured a passion for beauty contests since her college days, Chinmoyee has previously earned titles like Nagaon Best Skin, Miss Assam Best Personality, and Brahmaputra Miss Northeast Best Personality. She was also a top 5 finalist in Miss Assam and was recently crowned Miss Bharat Assam.
Aside from her successful modeling career, Chinmoyee is a university student who is actively involved in social and environmental activism. She has appeared in multiple music videos, showcasing her talent and versatility as both a model and performer.
Chinmoyee proudly dedicated her Miss Himalaya crown to her late father, Binoy Das, acknowledging the support and empowerment he provided throughout her journey. She also expressed gratitude to her mentors Devraj Hazarika, Raktim Kumar Das, Dr. Mahesh Yadav and Karishma Hazarika for their guidance.
