Guwahati: The official poster for the Assamese web series Scam 2019 was unveiled in Guwahati on September 25. Set to release at the end of the year on the Red Cinemas 18+ platform, the fictional series revolves around a corrupt officer involved in a decade-defining scam, affecting the identity and culture of an entire community.
Producer Aabhijeet Sharma expressed excitement, announcing that the trailer will drop during Diwali. The series, available with multilingual subtitles, will target audiences in India, Bangladesh, and the Middle East, priced at just Rs. 50.
The star-studded cast includes Jatin Bora, Bibhuti Bhushan Hazarika, Maytrayee Goswami, and others. Directed by RK and produced by Aabhijeet Sharma, the series promises to captivate viewers with its intense storyline, gripping screenplay by Bhaskar Deka, and stunning visuals from cinematographer Bitul Das.
