It’s worth noting that this prestigious position is divided into four zones: East, North, West, and South. The opportunity this time was in the East zone, and Dutta Baruah secured the presidency unopposed, as no other candidates from the East contested the position.

This isn’t the first time that Assam has made its mark in the printing industry. Two other prominent printing press entrepreneurs from the state, late Ramendra Narayan Dutta Baruah and the current President of the ‘All Assam Printing Press Owner Association’ Dibyajyoti Kalita, have previously received this honor.

Dutta Baruah now faces the significant task of leading this prestigious organization on a national level. His leadership and vision will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the printing industry in India.
