AAP Denies Rumors of Candidate Withdrawal in Assam


The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has denied rumors circulating about the withdrawal of its candidates from two Lok Sabha seats in Assam. In a press statement, AAP’s North East incharge Rajesh Sharma clarified that recent reports claiming AAP’s withdrawal from two seats are entirely false and unfounded.

Sharma addressed concerns raised by certain media channels and portals, labeling the rumors as baseless and urging all media outlets to refrain from disseminating unverified content. AAP Assam reiterated its commitment to contesting on all three Lok Sabha seats in Assam, as previously announced.

Earlier, AAP had announced its candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Assam. Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak disclosed the names of the candidates: Manoj Dhanowar for Dibrugarh, Bhabhen Choudhary for Guwahati, and Rishi Raj for Sonitpur, reaffirming the party’s dedication to participating in the electoral process across all designated constituencies.
