Guwahati: The Gauhati High Court Bar Association (GHCBA) has announced plans to hold a sit-in protest on June 27. They will protest opposing the Assam government’s proposal to relocate of the High Court to the North Guwahati.
A few days ago, the Assam government made the decision to shift the High Court and identified a plot of land in the North Guwahati area for this purpose. However, advocates have strongly voiced their opposition to this decision, expressing concerns about the potential implications of the proposed relocation.
