Guwahati : A collaborative tree plantation initiative involving BSF officers and personnel took place at BN HQ Patgaon, Guwahati (Assam) on August 18. The endeavor aimed to contribute to environmental conservation, emphasizing the significance of safeguarding Earth and Nature. This initiative also aligns with the commitment to plant the Fourth Crore sapling, a goal set by Hon’ble Home & Co-operative Minister.
During the event, Sh H P S Kandari, Commandant of 1st BN NDRF, along with all officers and rescuers, actively participated by planting 1000 saplings of various species at BN HQ Patgaon. Sh Dinesh Kumar Yadav, IPS, IG HQ Guwahati Frontier BSF, joined the effort with his troops, enhancing the collective impact of the plantation drive.
