‘Prastawana – The Preamble’ to Release Soon
Guwahati: The much-awaited Assamese film ‘Prastawana – The Preamble’, inspired by Dilip Borah’s acclaimed literary work ‘Yatra’, is all set to hit theatres soon. The film, which explores the impact of political influence on students and the education system, has recently received censor clearance and is now gearing up for release.
Co-directed by Dilip Borah and Manik Roy, the film delivers a powerful message on the importance of protecting democratic values like justice, equality, and freedom. With Tapan Das in the lead role, the film also features a strong ensemble cast including Paarvee Baruah, Hillol Kumar Pathak, and others.

Produced by Dilip Borah, the film promises a compelling cinematic experience backed by the talents of Bitul Das (cinematography), A. Sreekar Prasad (editing), and music by Satya Ranjan Bhuyan and Hiteswar Ray.
