Manipur: In a joint operation, the Indian Army and Manipur Police successfully recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in the Uyungmakhong area of Bishnupur District, Manipur. Acting on specific intelligence, the operation was launched on August 1, 2024.
The search operation yielded significant findings, including two AK-47 rifles, one sniper rifle, one 9mm pistol, three grenades, and other war-like stores. The recovered items have been handed over to the Manipur Police for further investigation and disposal.
