New Delhi: The Indian Army has started a special mission called Operation Sindoor. The aim is to destroy terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK). The government said these attacks only targeted terrorist places and not the Pakistani military.

The terror camps are said to belong to banned groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Hizbul Mujahideen.

After the strikes, the Pakistani Army fired mortar shells at some border villages in Poonch and Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir. People in Krishna Ghati, Shahpur, Mankote, Laam, and Manjakote were affected.
