Guwahati: ICA Edu Skills, one of India’s leading skill training and placement institutes, has opened its 4th centre in Assam at Jalukbari. The new centre was inaugurated on April 6, 2025, at 11 AM. It will train around 400 students every year.
ICA was founded in 1999 by Dr. CA Narendra Shyamsukha in Kolkata with the aim of training unemployed youth in Accounts and Finance. Over the last 25 years, ICA has trained and placed more than 5 lakh students through its network of over 100 centres across India.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Shyamsukha said 90% of ICA’s training is practical, using platforms like TALLY, ZOHO, SAP, Advanced Excel, TDS, GST, and Finalization of Accounts. ICA has also created 10 gamified simulations for hands-on practice on government portal replicas such as TDS, GST, ITR, ESI, and PF.
Course fees range from Rs 50,000 to Rs 80,000. Students can start with an initial payment of Rs 10,000–15,000 and pay the rest in easy EMIs.
ICA also has 30 placement offices across India, including two in Assam—Guwahati and Jorhat. Every student receives an “Any Time Job Guarantee Card,” allowing access to jobs in placement centres in cities like Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
