Guwahati Introduces Affordable AC Bus Service from Airport to City for Rs. 100

Guwahati: The Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBIA) in Guwahati has launched a new initiative in partnership with the Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC). Now, people can travel from the airport to the city in air-conditioned buses for just Rs. 100.

The airport authority announced, “We are pleased to inaugurate the ASTC counter at Guwahati Airport, providing comfortable AC bus services that connect the airport to Khanapara and Paltan Bazaar. Our aim is to offer passengers an affordable and convenient way to commute to and from the airport.”

This initiative by Guwahati Airport aims to reduce transportation costs and provide an economical option compared to private means of travel. The AC buses will primarily serve airport passengers but will also benefit local commuters.
