Karimganj: Assam Police arrested five dacoits in Karimganj district on June 10. The police conducted an operation based on secret intelligence inputs. It was revealed that the individuals were planning to commit a dacoity.
During the operation, the police recovered two handmade pistols, three sub-rifles, ammunition, and gunpowder from the gang. The authorities have initiated legal action against the arrested individuals.
