Guwahati : The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has announced important changes to the timeline for the admission process of HS 1st year class 2023. In a recent notification, the board has revised several key dates to provide students with an extended opportunity to complete the application process.
According to the latest update, the last date for online submission of applications by applicants has been extended to June 17, 2023.
Additionally, the institutions have been given more time to prepare the selection list/waiting list. The new dates for this stage are June 19 to June 21, 2023.
The publication date of the provincial selection list/waiting list has also been rescheduled to June 21, 2023 (Midnight), and this list will remain valid until June 24, 2023, as per the board’s notification.
Students have been informed that the revised dates for accepting admissions are now June 22 to 24.
Lastly, the institutions have been given new dates for confirming admissions through the ‘DARPAN’ online platform. This stage will now take place from June 26 to 28.
Students and institutions are advised to stay updated with official communications from the AHSEC for any further announcements or changes related to the admission process.
