Guwahati: A candle vigil programme was held on Sunday evening at Rajbari Athletic Club in Guwahati as a mark of remembrance and solidarity.
The event took place at 5:30 pm and saw participation from local residents and members of various organisations. The programme was organised by Hakshel Sinmee Lup in association with Manipuri Basti Meirapaibi Women’s Association, Rajbari Athletic Club, and the World Meetei Council (Kamrup Zone).
Participants lit candles and paid tribute, expressing unity and support through the peaceful gathering. The organisers said the vigil was held to stand together and remember those affected.
