Guwahati: A female gym trainer from Guwahati, traveled to Nigeria for a vacation on October 28. However, upon her arrival, a person identified as King reportedly snatched away her visa and passport. Concerns heightened when family failed to establish contact with her, prompting worries about her well-being.
The situation took a sinister turn when the family received a ransom call, demanding a substantial sum for her release. This alarming development led them to approach the Police, initiating an investigation into the matter.
Interestingly, reports suggest that she and her family have known King for two years, as they were introduced during that time.
Amid these unsettling circumstances, law enforcement authorities have taken necessary steps to address the situation and are actively working towards bringing her back to Assam.
