Guwahati: The Assam Pradesh Trinamool Congress has announced new district presidents with the approval of party chief Mamata Banerjee. The appointments include Pradeep Dahotia (Dibrugarh), Nirod Dutta (Tinsukia), Lekhon Buragohain (Lakhimpur), Mayur Majumdar (Nagaon), Arif Akhtar Ahmed (Goalpara), Rajesh Dev (Cachar), Anirban Sen (Chirang), Harekrishna Deka (Darrang), Asing Jim (Dima Hasao & Hojai), Lavanya Boro (Kamrup South), Tafzul Hussain (Kamrup North), Pradeep Roy (Barpeta), Hemant Kumar Das (Kamrup Metro), Dipen Ramsiya (Baksa), Tajliya Banu (South Salmara-Mankachar), Harunur Rashid (Bajali), and Sahidur Rahman (Dhubri).
