Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the ‘Aideo’ cinema hall at Jonaki Complex in Guwahati’s Panjabari area on Magh Bihu. This initiative is part of the Assam State Film Corporation’s golden jubilee year projects, aiming to boost the state’s film industry.

As part of the state government’s efforts, five new cinema halls and the renovation of nine existing ones are underway.
