Guwahati : The ABVP unit at Arya Vidyapeeth College organized a protest demanding a speed breaker on the main road in front of the college gate. The student community expressed their anger after a road accident injured pedestrians due to the absence of speed breakers near the college.

On September 9, the ABVP wing of Arya Vidyapeeth College staged a significant protest near the college. Subarna Nath, President of the ABVP Wing at Arya Vidyapeeth College, and Jahnu Barua, Secretary, were present at the protest site. Additional District Commissioner Anurag Rudra visits the protest and assured that the speed breaker installation would be expedited.
