Guwahati: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has initiated its membership drive in Assam, announced at a press conference held by the party’s northeastern observer Rajesh Sharma at the state office in Ganeshguri. To join AAP, interested individuals can now give a missed call to 80 1010 2626.
Rajesh Sharma emphasized the growing demand for AAP’s presence in Assam. “The people of Assam want the Aam Aadmi Party to be firmly established in the state,” Sharma stated. He highlighted the party’s efforts to strengthen its organizational foundation at the booth level, preparing for upcoming elections. AAP has dissolved its state and other committees, forming a working committee led by Dr. Bhaben Chowdhury and Manoj Dhanwar to oversee the reorganization.
Dr. Bhaben Chowdhury, the Working Committee convener, announced AAP’s strong commitment to contesting the forthcoming panchayat elections and possibly the assembly bypolls. He urged the people of Assam to join AAP in their transformative mission.
