Guwahati: Taj Cement has initiated a major road safety awareness campaign across Guwahati, Shillong, and Golaghat, with an extended reach through social media. The campaign aims to promote the use of helmets, seat belts, and discourage drunk driving and over-speeding, addressing the growing concern of road accidents in the region.
As part of its social responsibility, Taj Cement is committed to creating safer roads for the communities it serves. Speaking about the campaign, Sanjeev Surekha, Group CFO of Taj Cement, stated: “As a brand rooted in the Northeast, we are committed to the well-being of our people. This campaign is our effort to encourage responsible road behavior and prioritize safety over speed.”
The campaign includes street interactions, kiosks, and online initiatives to engage the public, especially young people, in spreading awareness about road safety. The Taj Cement team is actively encouraging drivers and riders to follow traffic rules and practice safe driving.
