Purabi Dairy Achieves Record Sales During Magh Bihu, Inaugurates New Milk Booth in Guwahati

Guwahati: Purabi Dairy achieved a significant milestone during Magh Bihu by recording sales of over 2 lakh liters of milk and milk products daily. This marks a 35% increase compared to last year’s Magh Bihu, reflecting the growing trust of customers in Assam. Notably, curd sales soared by 70%, and cream sales rose by 40%, highlighting the popularity of Purabi Dairy’s products.

“We are proud that the people of Assam trust our products made from milk sourced from local farmers. This success underscores our dedication to maintaining quality and expanding our distribution network,” said SM Hussain, Marketing Head of WAMUL.

New Purabi Milk Booth Inaugurated in Ganeshguri

In addition to its sales success, Purabi Dairy inaugurated a new milk booth near Ganesh Mandir in Ganeshguri, Guwahati. The booth was inaugurated by Assamese actors Moloya Goswami, Sagarika Goswami, and Debajit Mazumdar, along with directors Achinta Sankar and Atualananda Barman. The event was also graced by Sameer Kumar Parida, Managing Director of WAMUL, and Satya Brata Bose, Managing Director of North East Dairy and Foods Limited (NEDFL).

Speaking on the occasion, Sameer Kumar Parida said, “We are thrilled to open our fifth Purabi Milk Booth in Guwahati. The increasing demand for our products motivates us to grow further. We plan to set up 10 more booths in Guwahati to make our products more accessible to our customers.”
