Boko – In a coordinated operation on November 21, the Boko Police, in collaboration with the Special Task Force (STF) of Assam, successfully seized 121 grams of heroin from a traveler vehicle near Boko Police Station.
The operation targeted a public vehicle identified by its registration number AS01FC8114 within the jurisdiction of Boko Police Station. During the action, authorities apprehended one suspect.
In addition to the heroin, the STF reported the recovery of a mobile handset and a sum of cash from the suspect.
The STF took to their official X (formerly Twitter) handle to share details of the operation, emphasizing the importance of public vigilance and cooperation in combating drug trafficking. The investigation is ongoing, and further inquiries are expected as authorities work to dismantle the networks behind such illegal activities.
