Guwahati: In an unusual incident, two traffic policemen were seen fistfighting on the streets of Guwahati under the Shraddhanjali Flyover on Zoo Road.
The reason behind the altercation between the two officers remains unclear. A third policeman was spotted trying to manage traffic while his colleagues fought.
Guwahati Police Commissioner confirmed, “Action being taken . Both of them have been closed to Reserve and Enquiry ordered through ACP(Traffic-I).”
The incident has raised concerns about professionalism among traffic personnel in the city.
