Guwahati : A fire erupted at a plastic carton warehouse near the Jorabat area of Guwahati on September 6.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a massive fire destroyed property worth several lakhs of rupees at a godown in the 14th Mile area near Jorabat. According to the source, the fire broke out at a plastic carton godown.

Local authorities, including the police and fire brigade, rushed to the scene and managed to extinguish the flames. However, properties worth several lakhs of rupees were lost in the fire.
