Guwahati: In the early hours of Thurseday, two mobile phone thieves were injured in separate incidents of police firing in the Panikhaity and Birubari areas of the city.

The injured individuals have been identified as Mahibul Haque and Abhijit Rabha. Following the incidents, both of them were rushed to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for medical treatment.
