Charaideo: The All Assam Inter District Sub-Junior (Boys & Girls) & Youth (Men & Women) Boxing Championships 2023 commenced on July 18, 2023, at Kachumari High School Play Ground in District Charaideo, Assam. The prestigious event, organized by Assam Amateur Boxing Association (AABA), will run until July 22, 2023.
The opening bout was inaugurated by Jogen Mohan, Minister of Revenue & Disaster Management, Hills Area Development, Mines & Minerals, with a motivational speech that inspired the young boxers. The event was graced by Chakradhar Gogoi, MLA of Moran, and other dignitaries.

A total of 400 boxers, including 238 Sub-Junior and 160 Youth participants, from 29 affiliated Districts/Boards are taking part in this thrilling championship. The enthusiasm of the spectators was palpable as they witnessed the boxing matches unfold in this remote small township of Kachumari.
