Guwahati : Students from Modern English School, Raksha Borua (11th ) and Garima Das (10th), have made their school proud by winning medals at the 38th State Taekwondo Championship in Guwahati. Raksha won silver, and Garima won bronze in the competition organized by the All Assam Taekwondo Association. The championship had participants from 38 districts and over 1200 competitors.
Abhijit Gogoi, the Taekwondo Coach at Modern English School, expressed his joy, saying, “We are proud of Raksha and Garima for their achievements. Our school provides facilities for sports along with academics, and we hope to see more successes in the future.”
Modern English School in Kahilipara focuses on overall student development, including sports. They recently launched MES Sports Academies for basketball, badminton, cricket, football, taekwondo, chess, and yoga to promote physical development among students.
