Guwahati: The much-awaited Assamese film Malamal Boyyyz is all set for a grand release on July 11, and its official trailer was launched today at an event held at City Center, Guwahati.
The film stars actress Junu Nath in the lead role and brings together a powerful ensemble cast. Bollywood actors Durgesh Kumar and Ashok Pathak, known for their impactful roles in films and the Panchayat web series, will be seen in fresh new avatars.
The film also features several well-known names from the Assamese film industry (Jollywood), including Bolin Bora, Ujjal Rajkhowa, Jintu Kumar Kashyap, Nabajyoti Nath, Atanu Mahanta, Deepjyoti Kalita, Pranami, Raju Roy, Siddharth Mukherjee, Nabakumar, and Bidyut.
Directed by Mrinal Deka and team, Malamal Boyyyz also stands out for its rich musical presentation. The film includes songs sung by popular voices Joy Baruah, Achurjya Borpatra, and Bahnimaan. Tiran Mahanta has composed the music, while Kingshuk Moran handled the musical arrangement. The lyrics are penned by Jintu Kumar Kashyap, Paplu Chetia, and Borsha Bora.
The trailer launch was attended by all the lead actors, including Durgesh Kumar and Ashok Pathak, along with the full cast and crew. The event created excitement among the audience and fans, as the film has already drawn public attention even before its release.
