Mumbai: The Indian stock market fell sharply on April 7. Both Sensex and Nifty closed much lower due to selling in all sectors.
The Sensex dropped by 2,226 points and closed at 73,137. The Nifty also fell by 742 points and ended at 22,161.
Experts say investors were worried, which led to a big fall in the market. All parts of the market saw losses.
