Guwahati: T20i match between India and South Africa scheduled to be held on October 2, 2022.
Regarding this a press conference was addressed by Shri Romen Dutta, President, Assam Cricket Association and Shri Devajit Saikia, Secretary, Assam Cricket Association in the presence of other Apex Council members of Assam Cricket Association on 15th sepetember, 2022.
A total of 20,000 tickets would be sold online through Book My Show. Among these, 15000 tickets will be sold in the first phase starting from 11 AM of September 16, 2022 and 5000 tickets will be sold in the second phase starting from September 26, 2022. Also, around 11,000 tickets would be sold through the various affiliated units of Assam Cricket Association. It was also informed that the tickets have been priced between Rs. 475 and Rs. 6000. Devajit Saikia, Secretary, Assam Cricket Association informed that the ground of the ACA Stadium, Barsapara has been rendered ready to host an international match. All necessary equipments, including enough floodlights and covers, have been arranged, he said. It was also informed that 2 light-weight covers were imported from California, USA to add more swiftness and agility to ground covering operations in the event of rain. All other necessary equipments to combat unfriendly weather conditions, in keeping with the guidelines of ICC and BCCI, have always been available at ACA’s disposal ever since it started organising international matches, he added.
