Guwahati: Marwari Hospitals celebrated its 110th anniversary on May 16, 2026, with a series of special initiatives aimed at benefiting patients and the public.
The day began with the distribution of fruits and “get well” cards to patients admitted at the hospital. The initiative was led by Marwari Hospitals President Sarat Kumar Jain and General Secretary Kishore Saboo, along with members of the hospital team. The gesture was warmly received by patients and their families.
Following the patient outreach programme, the hospital officially launched its 110th anniversary celebrations with the pinning of the commemorative anniversary logo. The logo was formally unveiled by President Sarat Kumar Jain, and anniversary badges were distributed to staff members present at the event.
As part of the celebrations, the hospital offered 100 percent free OPD services, including free registration and doctor consultations, for all patients and visitors until 2 pm on Saturday. In addition, a 20 percent discount was provided on all radiology and laboratory investigations.
Marwari Hospitals highlighted that it is a fully NABH-accredited healthcare institution equipped with advanced laboratory services and state-of-the-art radiology facilities.
In connection with the upcoming World Hypertension Day on May 17, the hospital also organised a pre-celebration health awareness initiative. As part of this, free blood pressure and blood sugar check-ups were offered to the public, benefiting a large number of people.
