Guwahati: Lions Club of Guwahati Umang, Lioness, installed a Kent water plant with an inbuilt cooler at Paltan Bazar Police Station. The unit was inaugurated by IPS officer Shambhavi Mishra and District Governor Lion Seema Goenka, in the presence of Officer-in-Charge Kulesh Jyoti Bhuyan and social worker Dr. Kanhaiya Jaiswal.
The water plant was sponsored by Mahendra Verma and Lion Alka Verma in memory of Late Durgadutt Verma. The club thanked Lion Alka Verma for her generous support.
