Guwahati: The Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force carried out a three-day joint warfare exercise in the high-altitude Himalayas from March 25 to 27, 2025. The drill tested advanced surveillance, quick target detection, and precision attacks.

The forces used long-range aircraft, UAVs, helicopters, and space-based assets to locate targets. They then destroyed them using fighter jets, rocket systems, artillery, swarm drones, and loitering munitions in an electronically contested battlefield.

Lieutenant General Ram Chander Tiwari, Air Marshal Surat Singh, and Commodore Ajay Yadav reviewed the exercise and praised the troops for their high professionalism.

This drill, called Exercise Prachand Prahaar, followed Exercise Poorvi Prahar from November 2024. It proved the forces’ ability to plan and execute joint operations effectively in tough terrain, strengthening India’s defense readiness.
