Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the Gunotsav 2025 results at Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra, Guwahati. The massive educational assessment covered 44,077 schools and 38.98 lakh students, with 13,300 schools securing an A+ grade. Sivasagar topped the rankings for the fourth consecutive year.
The government also disbursed ₹25,000 incentives to 11,594 A+ grade schools from Gunotsav 2024 and distributed tablets to 4,320 students under the Arohan Scheme to enhance digital learning. Additionally, Samagra Shiksha, Assam, was awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification, recognizing its excellence in education governance and service quality.
