Guwahati: A vibrant and heartwarming Humour Therapy session was organised at Apna Ghar by Intas Foundation on 29th May 2025 in collaboration with the Mindful Smiles Foundation. The program was led by Mr Anubhav Mahanta and his team from Mindful Smiles Foundation.

The session was organised for cancer patients and their caregivers, and it aimed to provide emotional relief, promote positive mental health, and offer a joyful break from the stress and challenges of ongoing cancer treatment. As part of the session, a group of enthusiastic volunteers dressed in colourful clown costumes brought smiles and laughter to the faces of patients and caregivers, creating a lively atmosphere filled with humour and positive energy.

The event featured a delightful mix of playful interactions, group games, humour skits, dancing, and singing—all thoughtfully designed to actively engage participants and spark genuine joy. These light-hearted activities encouraged active involvement and also helped foster a strong sense of community and emotional connection among those present. For a while, patients and caregivers were able to set aside their anxieties and immerse themselves in shared laughter and uplifting moments, highlighting the powerful role that joy, humour, and human connection can play in the healing process.
