Controversy Erupts Over Misleading Advertisement by Civil Service Coaching Institute in Guwahati

Guwahati: A recent advertisement from the Civil Service Coaching Institute in Guwahati has stirred controversy, as it falsely claimed Rasika Islam, the topper of Assam Public Service Commission (APSC), as a study student of the institute. Following the APSC results announcement, Rasika clarified in an interview with Theguwahati.com that she had not taken any coaching at the institute, having only attended a mock interview session.

In response to the controversy, the institute issued a clarification in newspapers, stating, “We would like to clarify that Rasika Islam, who secured Rank 1 in the APSC CCE 2022 examination, was not a regular student at the Academy. While we celebrate her remarkable achievement, it’s important to note that her association with our academy was limited to her participation in our Mock Interview Guidance program.”
