Brahmaputra Music Festival 2024: A Cultural Event to Support Artists’ Families

Dibrugarh: In a heartfelt initiative to provide financial aid to the families of renowned artist Shivcharan Das and the late folk artist Kumar Suresh in Dibrugarh, the Brahmaputra Music Festival 2024 is set to grace Mankota Ground on February 3 and 4. The cultural event aims to support these artists’ families and bring the community together.

On February 3, the festival will feature performances by notable artists, including Padma Shri awardee Dulal Manki, Jyotirupa Cine Award winner Subil Bagh, and emerging talents like Kamal Nag, Poplin Chatria, Arghadwip Barua, and Ritrisha Sharma. The next day, on February 4, the highlight will be a performance by Bollywood sensation Armaan Malik’s band, along with Assam’s singer Arupjyoti Barua.

This inaugural Brahmaputra Festival, deeply rooted in the society and culture of the tea community, invites the public to come and support this noble cause. Eminent literary artists are also expected to join the event, which will be hosted by Udayan Duwara and Anushka Kashyap.
