Guwahati: Assam down town University successfully organized a two-day industry-academia event titled “From Campus to Corporate: Industry Interaction Sessions” at Radisson Blu Hotel, Guwahati. The event aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and corporate expectations, drawing participation from over 400 students across disciplines like B.Tech, BBA, MBA, BCA, and MCA.
Global companies including IBM, L&T EduTech, VFS Global Academy, and SAP took part in the event, offering valuable insights into the latest industry trends and skills needed in today’s job market.
Day 1 of the event focused on mechatronics and global career preparation, while Day 2 explored key digital topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Full Stack Development, Data Science, and Cloud ERP systems.
The university also took the opportunity to felicitate students who scored 90% and above in their Class 10 and 12 board exams, celebrating academic achievements alongside industry exposure.
The event featured panel discussions, Q&A rounds, and real-time case studies, offering students a hands-on learning experience.
“From Campus to Corporate” has set a strong example of how industry and academia can work together to build a skilled and job-ready workforce, especially in Northeast India.
